Change your display language

Switch Orbit’s menus, buttons, and messages to the language you work in.

Orbit’s interface is available in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.

Pick a language

1. Press Cmd/Ctrl+, to open settings.
2. Select General.
3. Choose your language under Language.

The change applies immediately — no reload needed.

Let Orbit follow your browser or Teams

The default setting is Auto — match browser: Orbit uses your browser’s language when it is one of the six supported languages, and English otherwise. Inside Microsoft Teams the option reads Auto — match Microsoft Teams and follows your Teams language instead.

Pick an explicit language to override this on every device you sign in on.

Note

Only Orbit’s interface is translated. Your notes are never translated or modified — they stay exactly as you and your team wrote them.

Email notifications from Orbit are sent in each recipient’s own display language.

FAQ

Which Portuguese does Orbit use? The catalogs are written in European Portuguese. Brazilian Portuguese browsers also resolve to it.

Does my language choice affect teammates? No. The setting is personal — each person sees Orbit in their own language, including when you edit the same note together.
