Change your theme
Choose one of Orbit’s 28 themes, or let Orbit follow your operating system’s light/dark setting.
Switch themes
Section titled “Switch themes”- Press
Cmd/Ctrl+,to open settings. - Select Appearance.
- Click a theme card.
The theme applies instantly and is saved to your account, so it follows you across your devices.
Follow your system
Section titled “Follow your system”The Recommended section holds System, Teams Dark, and Teams Light. System is the default: it applies Teams Dark when your OS is in dark mode and Teams Light in light mode, switching automatically when your OS does.

Every theme restyles the whole app — chrome, editor, code syntax highlighting, and rendered notes.
Change theme on your phone
Section titled “Change theme on your phone”On mobile, open Settings from the bottom bar and pick from the theme grid in the Appearance section. The same System option and all 28 themes are available. See Use Orbit on your phone.
Does my theme affect other people? No. Themes are personal — everyone viewing the same note sees their own theme.
Do exports use my theme? No. PDF and Word exports use a neutral document style regardless of your theme.
