- Browse to the file.

Convert into editable notes
Section titled “Convert into editable notes”Orbit can convert these local file types into editable notes:
.docx.pdf.md.markdown.mdown.mkd.txt
From OneDrive or SharePoint, cloud conversion supports:
.docx.pdf
Local conversion has a 10 MB file size limit. Larger files can be uploaded as-is if the workspace allows it.
Upload as-is
Section titled “Upload as-is”Use upload as-is when the file should remain a file rather than become an editable Orbit note.
Empty OneDrive files on Windows
Section titled “Empty OneDrive files on Windows”If a OneDrive file exists only as a cloud placeholder on your computer, import may report that the file is empty. In File Explorer, right-click the file, choose Always keep on this device, then try again.
After import
Section titled “After import”After importing, review the converted note. Conversion preserves useful text and structure, but it cannot perfectly reproduce every layout from a PDF or Word document.
